What to expect:
Students are taken through a basic business plan building process, and will learn facets of entrepreneurship including:
- Creating a mission statement and direction for your endeavour
- Elements of branding including colour, logo, font, positioning
- Target market and niche
- Financial considerations for product or service development
- The importance of a business plan and evaluating an idea on paper
Format:
Lecture (25%)
Interactive Group Work (75%)
Space/AV Requirements:
Space: This certification can be delivered in a regular classroom, library, or similar space. Group work requires students to come together and brainstorm.
AV requirements: Screen to hook up laptop, internet connection
